What type of bikes do you rent?

Our rental bikes are classic beach cruisers, perfect for comfortable rides and easy exploration. Each bike comes with:

All of our bikes are carefully maintained and regularly inspected to ensure a smooth, safe, and reliable ride as you explore Tulum.

How do I get my bike?

You’re welcome to pick up your bike rental from our shop in Tulum Centro, where you can choose a bike and make sure it’s comfortable before heading out.

For added convenience, we can also deliver bikes directly to your accommodation in central areas of Tulum and arrange pickup when you’re finished.

How much does bike rental cost?

Our bikes are $200 MXN per bike for a 24 hour rental.

We offer discounts for longer rentals and group bookings, so if you’re planning to rent bikes for several days or need multiple bikes, just let us know and we’ll make sure you get the best rate possible.

Is cycling in Tulum safe?

Cycling in Tulum is generally safe and one of the most popular ways to get around. That said, we recommend taking a few simple precautions to ensure a smooth experience:

Stick to designated bike paths where available

Ride during daylight hours when visibility is best

Be mindful of traffic, as some roads can be narrow or busy

Always lock your bike when not in use

With a bit of awareness, cycling is a fun, convenient, and safe way to explore everything Tulum has to offer.

Are there bike paths in Tulum?

Yes. Avenida Tulum has a bike lane, and there is a dedicated bike path along the Cobá Road that connects town to the beach. Parts of the beach road in the hotel zone also include bike paths.

Do I need to wear a helmet when biking in Tulum?

Cycle helmets are not legally required for cycling in Tulum. However, we offer free helmets with our bike rentals if you would prefer to wear one.

Do I need to leave a deposit for a bike rental?

We normally hold an original photo ID (passport or driver’s licence) during the rental period instead of a cash deposit. If you prefer not to leave your ID, you can leave a cash deposit of $2,000 MXN (approximately $100 USD) per bike, which will be returned when the bike is returned.

Do you deliver bikes in Tulum?

Yes. We offer free bike delivery and pickup in Tulum Centro, La Veleta, and Aldea Zama. Delivery to other areas may sometimes be possible — just ask.
